What is Kick-Start Program?

International Citizen Hub Lund offers a Kick-Start Program aiming to provide you with useful tools that will increase the opportunity to reach the job market. The program brings together various institutions, companies, and individuals who provide support, inspiration, and shared experiences on how to find employment. The Kick-Start Program is held twice a year during office hours—starting in February for the Spring edition and in September for the Fall edition. All sessions are conducted in English, and participation is free of charge.

10 informative sessions

The Kick-Start Program is a six-week initiative offered twice a year—beginning in February for the Spring edition and in September for the Fall edition. All sessions are conducted in English, and participation is completely free of charge.

The program includes 10 engaging and informative sessions tailored to help international talents navigate and succeed in the Swedish job market. Each session covers a specific topic, such as Swedish work culture, CV and cover letter writing, interview strategies, using AI in your job search, and even how to start your own business.

Participants are divided into two groups. Each group meets approximately twice per week during office hours — with one group attending morning sessions and the other in the afternoon — throughout the six-week program.

Who can apply?

This program is offered to spouses and partners of international recruits working at companies or organizations in Lund, including Lund University.
