Enjoy the Swedish traditions

Swedish food and lifestyle

Sweden offers a great work-life balance and a lifestyle that appeals to a lot of people. Swedes study and work hard but they also take their rest and relaxation seriously - there is always time for a fika.

The Swedish meatballs and cinnamon buns are famous, but have you heard about Jansson's temptation and glögg?

Freedom to roam - "𳾲Բäٳٱ"

Sweden has a unique law giving people the freedom to roam, The Right of Public Access (“𳾲Բäٳٱ”). This allows people to roam the countryside freely, and people can camp, hike, cycle, or even ski on someone else’s property. There are a few exceptions on what’s allowed, so be sure to familiarize yourself with the rules before venturing out. If you plan on going fishing, check to see if any fishing permit is required for the area.
