Coming to Lund in 2026: the first-ever International Citizen Day Lund!
Join us for this unique day to explore opportunities, network, and feel more confident navigating everyday life in the region – a great chance to connect, learn, and feel at home in the Greater Copenhagen Region.

You are warmly invited to join this event tailored for the international community living in the Greater Copenhagen Region.
Inspired by International Citizen Days annually held in Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen, the City of Lund brings together – for one day – public authorities, organizations, and local communities to support and guide internationals on everything from career opportunities to leisure activities.
This event is organized by International Citizen Hub Lund / the City of Lund, and part of the project Cross-border Talent Bridge, co-funded by Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak.

We are delighted to welcome you to International Citizen Day – a day filled with inspiring talks and practical insights into both career opportunities and everyday life in Lund and the surrounding region.
Join us to explore Lund’s innovation district, including its ecosystem of companies, research facilities, incubators, and the city’s strongest industry sectors. You will also get practical tips on how to navigate and develop your career in both Sweden and Denmark as well as learning about Swedish and Danish workplace culture.
Visit Lund will showcase highlights from the city and surrounding area – from sights and nature to culture and other experiences. You will also learn about sports clubs, various associations, and communities that can help when settling in.
Enjoy connecting, mingling and expanding your network throughout the day. Leave feeling confident in navigating both your career and everyday life in the Greater Copenhagen Region.

This part is open to everyone – even if you didn't register for the rest of the day. No registration needed. Just coffee, informal conversations, and networking without pressure. A chance to connect with professionals, talents, and other internationals from the Öresund region – to exchange thoughts and share tips.
Social Hub will keep the environment cozy and the conversations dynamic.

At 14:30, children accompanied by an adult are invited to a creative marionette workshop hosted by at Stadshallen. We’ll make puppets from recycled and leftover materials, so feel free to bring ribbons, yarn, buttons, small boxes or other craft materials from home.
