Volunteer’s gem 2026

Building a social network is one of the most important steps when settling into a new country. Finding spaces where you feel welcomed, connected, and included can make all the difference when creating a sense of home in a new place.
That’s why we are delighted to introduce a new collaboration with one of our volunteers, Andrea Swedenklef.

Guided garden tour.

Activities Spring 2026:

  • 15 June at 13:00 PM - Guided Walking Tour of Stadsparken, Lund

You are invited to join a guided walking tour through Stadsparken in Lund, led by a master gardener from the City of Lund. This is a great opportunity to experience the park from a new perspective and gain insights from an expert.

Stadsparken is one of Lund’s most valued green space with places for relaxation, play, exercise, celebration, and tradition. During the walk, we will explore several of the park’s unique areas as well as learn about how the City of Lund implements it's gardening design, plant life, and seasonal features.

Location: Stadsparken at the entrance on Nygatan.
Date & Time: Monday, June 15 at 13:00-14:00
Registration: Please note that spaces are limited, and registration is required to participate. To secure your spot, please sign up through the link bellow.

We look forward to walking the park together!

Find your place in Lund: Join our volunteer-led activities

We are happy to have Andrea Swedenklef with us during spring 2026. She will be volunteering and organising a range of activities that play an important role in fostering a sense of belonging and helping you find your way socially. We asked Andrea to introduce herself:

– I’m excited to introduce myself as a volunteer, organizing meetups and activities for ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº and to invite you to join us throughout the year as we explore Lund together. These activities are meant not only to connect people but also to help you experience and appreciate the best of Lund! We will be enjoying happy hours (called an AW for "after work"), casual coffee meetups (Fika), walking tours as well as visits to some of the area’s most interesting sites. I’m grateful to be continuing these activities that ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº started and look forward to creating welcoming, enjoyable experiences where everyone can meet new people and discover more of this lovely city along the way. Keep an eye open for future activities planned.

I am looking forward to meeting you!
