Get simple tools for clearer communication

You moved here to build a fulfilling life, and communication is a big part of that – especially when everyday conversations don’t always go as smoothly as you’d like. In this interactive workshop, you will be guided through simple, practical tools to communicate more clearly and confidently in your new context – especially when Swedish culture feels very different from your own.

Nancy Yang.

Nancy Yang, International Coaching Federation certified professional coach (PCC), is a coach, trainer, and facilitator specializing in empowering introverted people working across cultures and as an introverted Chinese woman building her career in Sweden, Nancy knows what it's like to be the quiet voice in the room – being told to "speak up more," feeling invisible in meetings, and navigating networking events that drain rather than energize you.

Working with clients from over 30 countries, she helps introverted people speak up assertively with confidence, build visibility in ways that feel authentic, handle difficult conversations with grace, and network without pretending to be extroverted.

Named one of 2025's gamechangers by HushLoudly's "Introverts to Watch," Nancy brings deep empathy and practical tools to her coaching, training, and facilitation work.

The workshop will focus on:

  • Recognising where cultural differences in communication (including Swedish norms) might be affecting you.
  • Practising 1–2 simple frameworks to make your message clearer and easier to understand, using real-life scenarios from your everyday life.
  • Exploring a free AI tool you can use to practise in private, at your own pace, with instant feedback and improvement tips until you feel ready to try it in real conversations.

This is a hands-on session with plenty of practice, reflection and sharing – not a theory lecture.

Come with your curiosity to learn, openness to try, and a bit of playfulness to connect with others in the same boat. Nancy have also prepared a surprise bonus for a few participants at the end.
