Let's talk about mental well-being when moving from your homeland to another country. The invited speakers have personal experiences of relocating, and working with clients struggling to adapt to Swedish life. Get knowledge, tips and inspiration to find the way for you and your family to stay excited in your new life.
It’s not easy moving to a new country for the first time and start from scratch, even if you are experienced. Sometimes we all would like a little support to keep us motivated, open to our new environment and to be able to enjoy the experience ahead.
We have invited Jernett Karensen, Lic. Clinical Psychologist, who will help you understand why and how we react when going through stressful transitions such as establishing yourself in a new country.
Our second guest speaker, Janine Miller, is a therapist with experience supporting people through life transitions and the stress that comes with them. She will guide a conversation where participants are welcome to share their experiences—or simply listen. Often, what one person is going through resonates with others, creating a sense of connection and relief.
At this event, you will get knowledge, tips and support for handling feeling overwhelmed and stressed, and at the end there will be time for questions, maybe more on a personal note.
Looking forward to seeing you!
Jernett Karensen & Janine Miller
